Getting to know Bear
Barry Reed was known to many people as “Bear.” He was recognized by his smile – always as big as his huge heart. Bear was a local mortgage banker and motorcycle enthusiast. He was taken from us by a car crash on March 1, 2001. He is truly missed.
Bear loved lending a helping hand or just being there to support others. He was active in several community groups. Due to the fact that both his parents were cancer survivors, Bear was very focused on helping the Mountain States Tumor Institute, especially the children he lovingly referred to as his “Cancer Kids.”
We dedicate this ride to Bear and hope you will join us to celebrate his life and love of children.
